The following illnesses, recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board of Saskatchewan, are presumed to be caused by firefighting duties:

a) Primary site brain cancer
b) Primary site bladder cancer
c) Primary site kidney cancer
d) Primary site non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
e) Primary site leukemia
f) Primary site colorectal cancer
g) Primary site ureter cancer
h) Primary site lung cancer

i) Primary site testicluar cancer

j) Esophageal cancer

Note: an injury to the heart within 24hrs after attendance at an emergency response is also considered part of the Presumptive Legislation.
